Recently, in the evening, Shenzhen University held the 2026 "Run Toward the Future" Graduation Campus Run at the north area stadium of its Yuehai Campus.
At the launching ceremony, Xu Bo, Party Secretary of Shenzhen University, delivered a three-part message to the graduates of the Class of 2026. He encouraged students to always keep running forward with enduring passion and pursue their dreams relentlessly. He urged them to walk alongside others, cherish the company of teachers, classmates, family members, and friends, and always stay grateful. He also hoped that all graduates would take the spirit of Shenzhen University as their foundation to stay down-to-earth and strive for self-improvement throughout their lives.
As a long-running annual tradition at Shenzhen University, this year's campus run features a new highlight: graduates are allowed to invite one "significant person" to run together with them, including classmates, roommates, teachers, and close friends.
Teachers and students set off together from the stadium and ran along the newly opened circular route in the north area of the Yuehai Campus. The route passed multiple iconic sites including the School of Architecture & Urban Planning, the Comprehensive Art Building, Wu Yuzhang Building, Huiwen Building, and Huixing Building, before finally returning to the stadium.
Custom commemorative T-shirts were provided exclusively for graduates of the Class of 2026. Featuring hook-and-loop patch areas, the T-shirts allow graduates to create personalized souvenirs after the run by freely combining patches of the campus sundial, Lychee Garden shuttle bus, lychee patterns, exclusive greetings, and their unique student ID numbers.
The latter part of the event set up several interactive check-in points and fun activities, drawing enthusiastic participation from graduating seniors and returning alumni who shared their affection and best wishes for their alma mater.
