On December 14, Shenzhen University held an exchange event at the Yuehai Campus in conjunction with the finals of the 6th Cross-Strait Student Baseball League. Three baseball teams from Taiwan visited and participated in activities such as group photos, a tour of the university history museum, and an experiential golf course with Shenzhen University faculty and students. The event aims to foster cross-Strait youth exchange and friendship.
Taiwanese team members learned about Shenzhen University's 42-year development history through a tour of the university history museum, praising the campus environment and expressing enthusiasm for future exchanges. In the golf experience session, participants engaged in lively interactions, with Taiwanese players highlighting the enjoyment of making friends through sports and their anticipation for more such activities.
"Shenzhen University's campus is expansive and beautiful, and I look forward to the upcoming itinerary and deeper exchanges." Li, a student from the Private Dong Wu Senior Industrial Home Economics Vocational High School in Taiwan, remarked. A player from Taiwan Steel University of Science and Technology added, "This is a very meaningful arrangement. Only by deepening our understanding of Shenzhen University can we promote more exchanges and mutual progress." The team members wrote messages of gratitude and hope in the guestbook and collected commemorative postcards from Shenzhen University.
Huang, the manager of the Ling Tung University baseball team from Taiwan, stated, "Everyone is very friendly, and we look forward to returning to Shenzhen for more exchange activities."
