From March 26 to 28, Xu Bo, Party Secretary of Shenzhen University, led a delegation on a visit to Macao. During the visit, the delegation attended the anniversary celebrations of Macau University of Science and Technology and City University of Macau, and held meetings with the University of Macau, Macau University of Science and Technology, Macao Foundation, Macau Millennium College, and other universities and institutions. The visit resulted in broad consensus on cooperation and the signing of multiple agreements. It also helped advance the implementation of the call from the two sessions to build a world-class innovation engine, injecting new momentum from Shenzhen University into the integrated development of education and research in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

At the University of Macau, Xu Bo held talks with Rector Song Yonghua, noting that the two sides have a solid foundation for cooperation and have established a strong framework for synergistic development.

At Macau University of Science and Technology, Xu Bo held talks with President Zhu Jiankang and signed a student exchange agreement. He also attended the university's 26th anniversary celebration events.

At the Macao Foundation, Xu Bo held talks with Wu Zhiliang, Chairman of the Administration Committee of the Macao Foundation, on topics including talent development and academic research.

At Macau Millennium College, Xu Bo held talks with President Zhong Weihe and signed a memorandum of cooperation.
In addition, Xu Bo was invited to attend the 45th anniversary celebrations of the City University of Macau. He met with President Liu Jun, and both sides expressed their expectation to further enhance resource sharing and synergistic development through the jointly initiated "Global Consortium of Metropolitan Universities," and to advance cooperation in a more substantive and impactful manner.
This series of activities in Macao has further clarified the areas of multi-dimensional cooperation between Shenzhen University and relevant institutions and universities in Macao, deepened mutual ties, and laid a solid foundation for enhancing coordinated development in education and research across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and advancing the implementation of major national strategies.
