Three individuals from Shenzhen University win the 2023 State Science and Technology Awards, and President Mao Junfa's project team wins the First Prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award

The Nationwide S&T Conference, State Science and Technology Awards Conference, and the Conference of Academicians of CAS and CAE were held in Beijing on the morning of June 24. Xi Jinping presented awards to recipients of the country's most prestigious science and technology honors, and delivered an important speech.

At the event, President of Shenzhen University (SZU) and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mao Junfa, led the project "Key Technologies and Applications of RF System Design Automation", which was awarded the First Prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award (Shanghai Jiao Tong University as the primary institution, with Mao Junfa as the principal investigator). Professor Barry Marshall, Nobel Laureate and Director of the Marshall Biomedical Engineering Laboratory of Shenzhen University, was honored with the China International Science and Technology Cooperation Award in 2023 (SZU as the primary collaborating institution). Furthermore, Professor Zhu Jianbo from the College of Civil and Transportation Engineering, Shenzhen University, participated in the project "Transparent Analysis Technology and Application of Rock Mass Stress Field in Deep Energy Development", which received the First Prize of the State Technological Invention Award.
