Shenzhen University's delegation engages in exchange and enrollment promotion in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan

From April 21 to 28, a delegation from Shenzhen University (SZU) embarked on a visit to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. During their trip, they participated in the "First Kazakhstan HSK Study in China Education and Career Expo" organized by Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. in Almaty.

The delegation paid visits to various esteemed institutions including Tashkent Medical Academy, National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NAS RK), Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Kazakh National Medical University, Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical University, and Kazakh University of Energy and Transportation. During these visits, the delegation engaged in extensive exchanges and discussions regarding the exchange of undergraduate and graduate students, the joint mentorship programs for doctoral candidates, the visiting scholar initiatives, and the establishment of joint research and educational centers. As a result, the delegation successfully solidified multiple cooperation agreements.

The delegation also participated in targeted school visits and various admission promotion activities organized by Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. They visited the New Century University of Uzbekistan, Uzbek State University of World Languages, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, International University of Information Technology. Additionally, they attended a number of briefing sessions on studying abroad, respectively. Ms. Ou Ying, Vice Dean of the College of International Exchange at SZU, delivered a speech on enrollment during these sessions.

The delegation visited the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Almaty, where they engaged in profound and extensive discussions with Mr. Zhang Wei, Consul for Education and Science & Technology. Consul Zhang Wei acknowledged SZU's accomplishments in fostering teaching and research collaborations between Chinese and Kazakh universities, and assured the delegation of his full support and assistance going forward.

SZU's booth emerged as one of the most sought-after attractions among the 25 Chinese universities at the "First Kazakhstan HSK Study in China Education and Career Expo" organized by Chinese Testing International Co., Ltd. in Almaty. Over 100 students submitted pre-registration forms on the spot, indicating a significant positive impact in terms of publicity.
