On April 18, Peter Harrison, Senior Vice President at Elsevier, along with his delegation, visited Shenzhen University (SZU). They were warmly received by President Mao Junfa and Vice President Zhang Xueji of SZU. The visit encompassed an Elsevier Global Journal Publication Guidance Meeting at the Benyuan Lecture Hall on the Yuehai Campus, followed by a symposium in Room 116 of the Benyuan Building.
At the symposium, both parties engaged in extensive discussions regarding advancing the internationalization of academic disciplines, devising a series of flagship activities, and exploring opportunities for collaboration across diverse fields.
Representatives from SZU, including officials from the Department of Science and Technology Development, the International Office, the Library, and the Institute of Deep Earth Sciences & Green Energy, as well as delegates from Elsevier and officials from RELX Group's government affairs attended the symposium.
