The Tokyo College of Shenzhen University is the first overseas campus of Shenzhen University. The college is located in Sigu, Shinjuku District, Tokyo. It is a non-independent legal person teaching college affiliated to Shenzhen University, which mainly enrolls Japanese citizens and other overseas citizens.
The Tokyo College of Shenzhen University mainly carries out undergraduate level academic education, and the first batch of Chinese language and literature (business specialty) majors are offered. Students enrolled can also minor in business administration (innovation and entrepreneurship specialty) as well as information and communication science (mobile internet application technology). Students can add an associate major to their bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and literature, and upon graduation, they will receive academic certificates and bachelor’s degrees awarded by Shenzhen University.
In order to encourage students, we have set up a variety of scholarship programs. In addition to language proficiency scholarships and academic scholarships, we also provide support scholarships during the period of coming to China and short-term exchange scholarships for students who actively participate in the headquarters’ projects of Shenzhen University. Besides studying in Japan, we encourage students to actively participate in summer camp activities at the headquarters of Shenzhen University, or apply for exchange studies at the headquarters of Shenzhen University. Through local learning, what they have learned are applied, and the most appropriate and authentic Chinese culture and history are experienced.
The Tokyo College of Shenzhen University will start teaching as scheduled in April 2023. We look forward to providing high-quality localized Chinese and professional education for Japanese youth, and become a link between Chinese and Japanese humanities education exchanges and youth communications.
